David M. Duarte, 88, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on August 20, 2023. Born in Brava, Cape Verde on December 20, 1934. He was predeceased by his late parents, Manuel Duarte and Carolina (Depina) Duarte.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Gomes Duarte, children Benjamin Duarte and his wife Candida, Manuel Duarte and his wife Odalys, Domingas Dalomba and her husband Jose, Carolina Duarte, Roberto Duarte, David Duarte, 12 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, a brother Antonio M. Duarte and his wife Domingas,and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters Edelia Duarte Costa, Maria Duarte and Belmira Duarte.

David enjoyed cooking for his family on the weekends and looked forward to family dinners. He also looked forward to spending quality time with all his grandkids at the local park. His love, presence and smile will certainly be missed.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 23rd from 4pm-7pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave. Lincoln. His burial will take place Thursday, August 24th DIRECTLY at St. Anthonys Church, 32 Lawn Ave. Pawtucket at 10am. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
